Footprints for Peace Arriving in Brunswick Heads 22 march

Footprints for Peace – Women’s International Peace Walk A group of women are walking from Brisbane to Canberra, to raise awareness about alternative energy and expose the dangers of the nuclear industry. They’ll be setting out on 13th March (just after International Women’s Day) and will be arriving in Brunswick Heads on
Monday 22 March.

They’ll be staying overnight at Sea Scout Hall and there will be music  and guest speakers at the Soundshell during the arvo/evening. On Tuesday 23 March they’ll walk to Byron along the beach and local  women are invited to join them – for part or all of the journey to  Canberra!!

We’ve been asked to help feed and support these women and I hope you  will join in the walk to Byron….
